Sunsets
There is nothing like watching the sun go down, especially if you are in a tropical paradise in Australia. Getting photographs of sunsets this close to the equator proved quite stressful unless you are really prepared. I couldn't believe how fast the sun set. It's as if somebody cut the string the sun was hanging on! The rapid changes in the sky as the sun descends beyond the horizon are fantastic.
This photograph (right) was taken from the beach on Lizard Island, Australia. I like the way the palm trees and the shrubs frames the whole picture.
