Granite Beach
This was taken on a beach on Lizard Island, Australia. Granite is a very hard rock created by volcanic activity. When it weathers, lines of weakness are often eroded faster than others and the wave power of the sea creates magnificent smooth rock faces and deep fissures. The shadows contrast with the white coral sand. I found it ideal for black and white shots.
