Natural
This section is devoted to capturing the intricate textures, patterns and colours of natural objects. They are a little more abstract than most of my photos and I am still "getting my eye in" as a photographer for this type of shot. I find them really satisfying when I do manage to capture them. I seem to just stumble upon them by accident but it would be nice to bump into them more often!
This photograph (right) was taken in the Botanical Gardens in Sydney, Australia. The sandstone had weathered into these honeycombed shapes. I turned this shot to black and white because it seems to give a bit more depth. I received some strange looks as this Pommie was running around taking photos of rock!
