Landscape
Many of my landscape photographs were taken whilst on a trip to Australia. I think being in a foreign place you see things that the people living there don't see anymore, so I reckoned it would be good to look again at my doorstep and went off to the east coast in Yorkshire. It made me realise I could have really missed out on places I took for granted.
The photograph (right) was taken on a route called Darwin's walk in the Blue Mountains, Australia. It was at a time when I was getting to grips with photography. I wanted to achieve a blurry waterfall effect but increased the shutter speed instead of slowing it and froze the water instead! I think I prefer it though!
