Architecture
The Deep is an iconic building at the forefront of cutting edge architecture. It was designed by Terry Farrell to reflect Hull's maritime history. It's interpretation is various, from the prow of a ship, a leaping fish and many others. But what can be said is that the use of materials makes its incredibly photogenic.
This particular photograph (right) was taken at noon when the light was particularly strong. The south facing side of the building and the marine grade steel seemed to just grab the light. The clear blue sky just accentuated the clean lines of the building.
